There's no restriction on posting; members can post immediately.

It does appear that this pp4me4 and pp4me are the same. I've reached out to him to see about resolving login problems and merging the two accounts.

Re: Daily "Check In" Thread For Us

I wouldn't touch router-in-router. You can definitely connect your own wifi access point, though, that shouldn't be much of a problem.

Re: Daily "Check In" Thread For Us

Speaking of weaksauce, relying on your ISP's equipment? Where I come from, men buy their own wifi access points, and they aren't confused with routers. I always try to use as little of the ISP's equipment as possible. I don't trust it, I don't want it, I want maximum flexibility for changing ISPs wi...

Re: Daily "Check In" Thread For Us

Curious phenomenon. You know how a while back I had no internet at home and we had to get a new provider? The new router is on one side of the house, and my bedroom is on the other side. When I'm lying in bed with my phone and facing the direction of the router I get a connection. When I roll over ...

Re: Best Deal right now on Gold

Is there a relationship between premiums and spot price? Are there lower premiums when the spot price is high (to encourage buying), and higher when the price is low (when people will eat the premium to buy in at a great price)? There is a definite relationship between spot and premiums but it's no...

I had no idea about smart TV privacy issues. I expect the combination of a dumb TV, Apple TV and a MacBook on airplay would function the same way Here it goes: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/jun/22/mark-zuckerberg-tape-webcam-microphone-facebook Many of the existing AV programs have in...

Mainly that having the separate sub-forum to encourage them I don't think was a fit... for all the reasons I mentioned on page 1. So please, quit putting words in my mouth. That is something I don't think you've said before, and maybe you thought you did (or that it would be understood from what yo...

Re: I Think This Forum Should Stick To Investing

This is part of the problem. The generalization and assumptions. You don't really know that this is the reason people are upset. So you make this broad assumption and use that as a way to discount every other opinion. This happens A LOT on this forum. The fact is that many people have left because ...

Re: I Think This Forum Should Stick To Investing

There are now 10 people in my poll, a poll that is in this section that people can opt out of mind you, that have said yes they have considered leaving this forum because of politics. Why is that? Well, why when there is a car accident on the freeway to people slow down to look as they pass by? It'...
