Re: Pushing your chips "all in" for the PP

I don't want to open up a can of worms, but if the young PP investor is set on 25% equity, factor tilting (ala Swedroe) can really come in handy.

Re: Shortages caused by refusal to raise prices

Let's just settle this by agreeing to step into the shower after pooping.

Don't even need to spend money on a bidet attachment.

Re: The Permanent Supplement Regime

I haven’t read through this thread, but Smithers , how much Vitamin D do you take at once? After some cursory reading, I ordered some since I don’t have access to the salmon I was buying pre-corona. I only got 600 iu pills. In fact, they’re children’s vitamins. O0 As they say in Chinese, too much i...

Re: Coronavirus General Discussion

Have you guys taken the self-isolation/quarantine opportunity to watch National Treasure yet this year?

Better get it done before June 17th (HB's birthday), or you get auto-banned from the forum.

Are you sure you’re Canadian? j/k O0
I wonder if there is a lower propensity for Canadians to buy into the PP strategy, given that it does have that libertarian bent to it... :D

Re: Shortages caused by refusal to raise prices

I love the BH forum being the butt of all our jokes. It's honestly awesome. I'll chime in on the items on the shelf dilemma. My superseding idea is that neither option A or B is inherently "preferable," and it shouldn't matter what we think. The market should clear at equilibrium, with no outside in...

Re: Computer games - then & now

Go and search for Doom comparison videos and images. It's a particularly good comparison because a lot of the monsters and characters are the same, despite almost 30 years transpiring. Same demons and entities, just better graphics. It's really something. It goes deeper. Every year these graphics an...

(Sorry, Saul’s on, so I’ve only been peeking during the commercials)
On my resume I'm putting knowledge of the law down.

Better Call Saul seasons 1 to 5. That's got to be at least half a law degree there.

Re: Trump as tragicomedy

How naive I was for thinking Bernie would win the nomination and beat Trump.

We now have 2 senile dudes bordering on dementia competing for the presidency. Both which have been accused of sexual impropriety.

Re: Hidden feature of the Golden Butterfly

The Golden Butterfly is basically a mirror image of PRPFX.

Think of PRPFX as the PP but with a tilt towards inflation. Similarly, think of The Golden Butterfly as the PP but with a tilt towards prosperity.

Re: Daily "Check In" Thread For Us

I finished my math assignment. I think I've developed PTSD. I hope this doesn't sound snide, because I don't mean it that way at all, I'm just genuinely curious. Why does someone who doesn't like math have a beautiful math equation as his signature line? By the way, that math equation blows my mind...
