Re: Coronavirus General Discussion

Parler seems to be gaining some traction, as a twitter substitute, and bitchute for a YouTube substitute, not sure if face book has an uncensored competitor with any legs yet, but at least there some alternatives building a user base,

Re: The NYC Hard Hat Riots of 1970

You're not in a big city with housing projects filled with welfare recipients who are mainly of a certain skin color. I am, and so is dualstow (gathered from his report that he also is having a terrible time with these fireworks). Read the news on them? You won't find that much but you will learn w...

Re: Finally someone pushes back!

i think somebody mentioned it in another thread (or i read this somewhere) but the name "democrat" with its long history of association with slavery, the civil war, Jim crow, the KKK, not to mention creating the welfare entitlement plantation to replace all of the former... has to go !!

Re: Trump's Mt. Rushmore speech

Christians thinking rock lyrics will send you to hell, seems like a parody of the 1990 moral majority years, and as over the top as the religious right crowd were back then, cancel culturing a presidential music selection still seems far fetched..

Re: The NYC Hard Hat Riots of 1970

Fire works around July is pretty common, but i see a change in the pattern. There used to be pre 4th fire works but they would be small bursts of fire crackers, the familiar wiz, bang, zip, etc.. sounds.. with a rare but expected boom! this year it started earlier, and there was none of the above fi...

Re: when "google it" became usless

I saw an article today about Google alternatives: https://fossbytes.com/google-alternative-best-search-engine/ Searx is a "privacy-respecting metasearch engine" that lets you search multiple engines with one query. https://searx.me/ Their site lists public instances of their search engine, and you ...

Good, except 9 mm is too wimpy. You need .357 or .45 if you want to make sure the results are as desired.
You should send William Bernstein a firmly worded letter lol.

Re: when "google it" became usless

The search engines are all a bit different and “the best” is very subjective. I use Duck Duck Go by default but if I’m really looking for something sometimes I also try Google and Bing. YouTube itself is actually the world’s #2 search engine. There used to be (and maybe still are) search aggregator...

Re: when "google it" became usless

i used bing for a little while when it was still fairly new, at that time google was still a far better search, so i gave up on it, unless it has greatly improved, and Microsoft isn't as interested in directing, profiting from, and censoring results, which is unlikely, i doubt it is what i am lookin...

Re: Is Trump doing a good job?

It's a good thing nobody turns on their smart phone and records the conversations when I go out fishing with my friends. We would all be canceled tomorrow. What most of us really like about Trump is that when the Dems call him the most vile names that can be applied to any human being he doesn't ju...
