Re: I Think This Forum Should Stick To Investing

i wont speak for Xan but i suspect we will keep things as they are.. he created a politics section to help deal with the influx of politics into everything. and it has cleaned up the other discussions area. we are ALL getting burned out on the state of the world today and on the divisiveness it is c...

Re: I Think This Forum Should Stick To Investing

the politics section can be blocked by the user at his own discretion, i am sorry if taking personal responsibility for you viewing and posting choices is difficult.. but it would not be in keeping with the forums ethos to impose top down government (admin) restrictions on what you can and cant talk...

Re: Whoa: Nearly a Third of Democrats Believe the Election Was Stolen From Trump

i am not personally in favor of blocking, however there is a dramatic difference between intelligent debate and trolling, and the trolls don't add to the debate ... they wont be missed by those who no longer see their posts.. blocking a poster is a personal choice, i hope the frustration with trolls...

Re: Linux, continued

libram 5 has done a few early release versions so far, they are mostly a phone geek beta test toy, but it shows promise and commercial versions are on the way?, no idea when, release dates are a bit loose

i am curious to see it though..

One of the issues that several of us have had is the explosion of "microthreads" that make the forum much harder to navigate. Two people in particular have been driving this. May I respectfully suggest that thoughts that fall under the heading of an existing thread be posted on that thread instead ...
