Re: Regulations, Litigation, and Personal Responsibility

So I edited the first post in this thread to change its title to the one proposed by Tortoise. thanks i will try to remember that.. i think there is a option as you make the first split but it isn't obvious and i must ha...

I guess one could have a stick of butter and a steak. The thing is, one can find people losing weight and feeling better on...

Re: Carnivore Diet Experiment

I have tried multiple times but I have the hardest time on low carb and carnivore. I have trouble making it a few days..the longest I have made it is 2 weeks. I know there is a transition period etc but how do I continue to fight thru something that makes me feel like crap? At what point do I say t...

Re: Without 2A, What Good Are the Other Amendments?

About ten years ago, I was at a friend's house for dinner and his son had just turned 10, so I brought him a nice Leatherman as a gift. Seemed like an appropriate gift for a ten year old boy. The parents were a bit agasp. They generally approved but they were quick to tell the boy that he must neve...

hang in there and enjoy the ride, the rush of chemistry and hormones fades with age, and wisdom takes time to grow.. its pretty rare to have both at the same time, so by the time you are wise enough to know better, you will be wishing for the good old days when you had enough of the chemistry and ho...

An outstanding post on top of a bunch of other great ones of late ahrunforthehills. Thanks! Taken as a whole your comments and those of mathjak107 here reflect approaches that are deeply informed by Browne’s work while responding to realities he’d never encountered. I know some view any departure f...

many new alarms have a ten year non replaceable battery, the whole thing gets replaced when it starts to beep, so nuking it only keeps it from beeping itself to death in the dumpster.. (in addition to preservation of sanity)

+1 as well.....(sigh)
Are you guys agreeing that I'm cynical, or agreeing with my comments/advice?
i was (unfortunately :( ) ) agreeing with the cynicism. "it shouldn't be so" but marriage is a go in with your eyes open situation in today's world.

First question, not the military's job. And, yep that's pretty much how I feel. Guiliani became the mayor of NYC because people got sick of what the Dem's had let the city turn in to. Okay, that's a fair answer. Now that we've established you are a Trump loving RINO vs. an actual conservative... I'...
