I'd be inclined to put the $20,000 into PRPFX and be done with it. If she had $200,000, then I could justify a 4x25%.

Why settle for a 4% withdrawal rate when one could purchase an annuity with a guaranteed withdrawal rate of 6% or annuitize and get maybe 7-9% (assuming you were in your late 60's, early 70's) ?? (geez, I sound like a salesman) MT, would you put your mother's money in a PP and let her withdraw 6%??...
