Has This Portfolio Been "Named" Yet?

Post by Smith1776 »

I was thinking the other day of a Larry Portfolio combined with the Desert Portfolio. Has this allocation been popularized or "named" at any time?

- 30% global small cap value stocks
- 10% gold (half physical and half ETFs)
- 60% intermediate-term treasury bonds

Some prima facie performance figures courtesy of portfolio visualizer. Data sets on the site don't explicitly have international SCV, so I had to proxy a bit.

Overall it looks like a nice little portfolio. Blue line is the Desert/Larry combo and the red line is global 60/40.
