Any documentation of any specific information being passed on to her?

Are you asking if the secrets she got while spending, I don't know how long (years?) with the congressmen have been made public?

Poor Tom. I heard the recording of him going off yesterday. I am not 100% certain, but I don't think he gives two craps about Covid. I think he was worried about people on the set getting caught in violation of whatever rules are in place now to "allow" people to work on films. He referenced how many people in his industry have been ruined because of this.

I think that's why he went off, not because he's worried about some stage hands standing close together and one of them catching a mild flu.

Yes, that's probably right. I suspect another factor that contributed to Cruise's rant was guilt. Restaurants and countless other small "non-essential" businesses in L.A. have been shut down for months, financially devastating their owners and employees. Yet people in the film industry are allowed to work right now because the government considers them "essential". (I'm sure money and political favors have nothing to do with that...)

Of course I think the state shouldn’t be closed, but Hollywood is subsidizing the closure of the rest of the state.
Hollywood does contribute a lot of tax dollars. But last I heard, it’s not nearly enough to keep CA solvent. The state will need a massive federal bailout to avoid a financial disaster.

I heard it's a problem with demand. They just need demand "stimulated'. UBI will solve this. If you disagree you just don't understand human nature Turtleman. The people need money! They can't buy stuff if they gots no money!

Right. ::)

It's a problem with government income vs. expenditures. If you forcibly shut down most of the small businesses in your state (which CA did), your tax revenue goes way down. And if you don't correspondingly reduce expenditures on public employee salaries and benefits (which CA didn't), you run into an obvious cash flow problem.

I've got a Nobel Prize winning economist Mr. Paul Krugman who would beg to differ. The solution to a drop in tax revenue is to spend more on public employee salaries so they can pay more in taxes back and spend that money and then the recipients pay more. It's all very simple. What Kalifornia should do is make their own printing press. See if it works for the feds it will work for CA.

Rather than link to the Babylon Bee here we could start linking to Krugman's column for humor.

I'm asking if there are any specific damaging anything regarding her and Swalwell's relationship or whatever went on between them. I know little about this.

"A small percentage of the population said they thought it would be way more efficient for the economy if the government just didn't take the money in the first place. These people were shouted down as "libertarian conspiracy theorist wackos" and told to move to Somalia."

Ahahah, i have seen lefties on this forum write those EXACT words.

satire dies in darkness
the gyroscopic bee

in a bold political move on his first day in office presidential place holder Joe Biden has signed an executive order to provide relief to the countries struggling satire writers. in a rousing, rambling and largely incoherent speech to to the assembled press Biden showed great compassion for the despondent humorists struggles, "our nations satirist are really struggling right now, they put all their heart and soul into writing outlandish comedic descriptions of human behavior, only to be crushed by some guy, who inevitably comes along and points out that people are actually doing what they have described and are doing so in a way that is completely serious, and with total conviction. "i mean come on man".
Reports indicate that the suicide rate for satirists is now at a all time high. The new executive order, which will provide all satire writers with a pair of size 20 shoes and a red rubber nose, is projected to help these poor despondent individuals get the laughs that they work so hard to achieve in these difficult times..

in other news Biden has just written a executive order banning clowns on behalf of the very vocal and politically important Coulrophobia justice groups.. and there is now talk of adding a C to the LGBTQ alphabet list..

In an earpiece fail, Lawfully Elected President Biden says "Salute the marines" instead of actually saluting them:

I just clicked on a Youtube Fox News interview with Glenn Greenwald. You know how YT used to place a counter programming statement under the video panel, saying that AP News has determined that Joe Biden has been elected President? Today the statement says Joe Biden is the President of the United States.

I'm sorry, I can't stop laughing at this.

I saw this too. Awesome.

The 65M people who voted for this senile vegetable and the 15M fake voters actually voted for a mysterious guy talking into Joe's earpiece.

I know you guys didn't like the mean tweets but C'mon man!

Vegetable-in-Chief.

I noticed YouTube is letting a lot more vids pop up criticizing this dementia ridden fool.

They must be getting ready to put him out to pasture real quick.

How many of the 15M fake voters will even notice?

According to many media reports, supposedly many nations were laughing at the U.S. when Trump was our president. I suspect they are laughing at us a lot more now than they were then, but the media will pretend otherwise.

Democrats don't understand simple economics. Why should they? They never had to run a business. Small business owners wouldn't be voting Democrat anyway, so why should the Democrats worry about them (other than the fact that they make up a large part of our economy). Our country has become a farce.
