The short answer is: no.
The longer answer is: no, unless we've been lied to about George Washington, and he was actually as corrupt as most of the presidents who came after him.
The WMD story in Iraq didn't pass the sniff test back in 2003. This Zelensky guy doesn't pass the sniff test in 2022. I'm just posting this to be on the record, so I can point back to this post in five years and crow about what a genius intuition I have.
Oh, except for one problem: we may not have a civilization more advanced than the Stone Age in five years, which would make it hard for me to post on the internet, due to the nuclear war that these geniuses may be recklessly leading us into.

Washington had his fair share of human faults, as we all do. What was mind blowing, and particularly at the time, was he was not interested in power other than to achieve the revolution’s goals. Hence the American Cincinnatus moniker.
