The US does not have a free market. Just reading this story makes that clear.

Well, there was a heckin' global pandemic so they had to take inflation to a 40 year high, now they have to raise rates and bring asset prices down.

What are you suggesting be done...

Read it. Does not at all make it clear to me. What did you find in the article to support your assertion?

Basically we have just had another housing bubble which is great for present homeowners but terrible for those trying to buy a first home. Were houses supposed to be going up at the current rate of increase for forever?
