My Favourite Global Bond ETF Reduces Its Fees

Post by Smith1776 »

There's only one decent global sovereign bond ETF in all of Canada -- XGGB provided by Blackrock. I had not noticed that last year its management fee was reduced. Now the only reservation I had about it is gone.

Management Fee Reduction

BlackRock Canada has implemented a reduction in the annual management fee of XGGB from 0.35% to 0.20% of NAV. This management fee reduction is effective as of June 26, 2020.

It holds global government bonds hedged back to the Canadian dollar. It's the only one of its kind in the whole country. A great tool to implement a global PP.

And following Smithy's lead, the only Australian Global Government Bond ETF I know of is

Do forum members have examples from other countries so this thread can be a reference?
