How low does he think the 30 year can go before no one will buy it. If gold funds are -.4% to hold, that might be the floor

He said a few times 1% wouldn't be out of the question for it to hit . but it can always be bid negative .

you have entire countries who need a safe secure place to store their money and wealth and treasuries are that place ...they don't mind paying a fee for that security. we already saw 3 and 6 month bills go negative

I don't understand in a world awash in negative rates how we won't go negative as well. Seems like they already should have been bid down on par with Europe's rates already by international investors...unless there simply aren't enough investors to drive them down to that point
