Best place to get accurate gold spot price
I’m finding that Apmex routinely list spot prices significantly higher than gold money.com and kitco. Does anyone know where to get the actual comex spot price?

I use the foreign currency exchange ticker XAUUSD. It provides real time london spot in USD per ounce. Currently $1675.50

Thank for the info. I think it's a little lame that such a large dealer does not display the accurate gold spot price. Also, my local coin dealer uses Apmex for spot prices as well.

If the Apmex gold spot price is indeed significantly higher than Kitco and goldmoney.com, perhaps you could make a profit (on average) by steadily buying from Kitco or goldmoney.com and selling to your local coin shop?

Would probably have to have a cash flow of hundreds of thousands of dollars to make it worth it all while hoping the price did not drop! It's about a 1 percent difference, about 20 dollars off the current spot.

I've always used kitco.com for gold + silver quotes.

Apmex is always higher than AJPM, but for what it’s worth, Apmex’s listed price is often lower than Yahoo’s or the WSJ’s, like right now.
