I know the post office is struggling but they have a habit of leaving packages outside my door without even knocking. UPS knocks and waits. It seems like gold vendors use USPS because it is connected to insurance.
Is that right?
Does anyone use UPS?

Sadly they use the post office. I just checked my order confirms with them.

Don't they send the coins via registered mail?
If your local post office is leaving those on your doorstep, that's reportable. They shouldn't deliver without a signature.

They have left registered mail on my doorstep without a signature, but it wasn’t gold. It was from a fountain pen company.
Two things happened:
1) I told the pen co., just to tell them, and they refunded that part of shipping, which was cool.
2) It spooked me, Sophie. I know the stuff is insured, but I don’t want to be that guy that told the gold dealer, yeah I didn’t receive my gold.

Hmm, maybe they use both, like Amazon.
