I have benefited quite a bit from this forum over the last week or two and now have a question: have any of you evaluated the RPAR ETF? Would it be close to PRPFX? Thanks.

Hi Jim,
Had a quick look at RPAR and it appears to use a different methodology to the PP.
Good that it has physical gold.

Perhaps have a read of this thread where forum members discussed risk parity vs the PP.

It looks like a permanent portfolio that trusts the govt and doesn't believe gold is money. Then you have to pay extra for their management fees.

Thank you for those thoughts. You know, I did not even look at the management fees so I am going to go check them out. I suppose that really is an advantage of the "do-it-yourself" Permanent Portfolio. I appreciate it.

Thank you! I had not seen that article and it actually does help to think about RPAR as something of a hedge fund. That had not really occurred to me.
