Twas the Puritans who banned Christmas celebrations due to Pagan associations (and the excessive merry making).

GoDaddy did a phishing test recently - https://thehill.com/policy/technology/5 ... l-phishingWiseOne wrote: ↑Wed Dec 23, 2020 10:53 amIn something totally unrelated and non-political....
Mass email from university IT today. It warned of an increase in phishing attacks - which you'd have to be living under a rock not to know about. But, this was the best part:
"Please click here for additional information on how to protect yourself and your team from falling for phishing attacks."
with the words "click here" as a hyperlink.
I just about fell off my chair laughing.

That cartoon kind of reminds me when people complain that the stock market must currently be overvalued since it's at an all-time high.
If you look at a historical chart of the stock market over many decades, it's hitting an all-time high a significant portion of the time. Because it trends upward over time.

Testing, testing...
This is a test to see if I can post twice in succession.
Last night I ate at the oldest steak house in Houston.
I will wait one minute and then try another post. If you don't see it, something is broken.

I had a delicious piece of prime rib at Brennans in Katy (West Houston)
Edit: Looks like it worked.

I left Houston in late 1974, perhaps just a little has changed since then.

I don't know my way around Houston that well - and I'm only here for another day. I'll definitely look for it though.Mountaineer wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 11:55 amIs Sonny Looks still open? Used to be a great steak place. How about the Red Lion?

i’m watching Forensic Files here and there and thinking please stay away from that head-butting girl forever, Mr Smith*. I have a strong feeling that she’s going to end up in jail, for violence.
(This would make a great song title).

Headbutting girl and I are officially no longer friends on social media nor are we texting.
I still find the James Rickards portfolio fascinating.

I can imagine Rodney Dangerfield doing a bit about the whole head-butting thing.
"I'll tell ya, I've heard of girls who like to give head, but this is ridiculous! Huah!"

Girlfriend Squats
For when you absolutely, positively need to get your workout in.
Guy did one set of twenty.
Gal needs to go up five pounds by Saturday to make the next workout.
