Hopefully you mean that in the good way, and not the bruises-and-scratches way. ;D

I was here for a different reason but it seemed odd to discover that no one had written in this "Daily" topic for nearly four months!

Inquiring minds want to know: I have a question for those who are avid “green new deal” supporters. Do you use both sides of a sheet of toilet paper, or just one? If you don’t practice using both sides yourself, do you advocate it for the masses, or is it more proper to refer asses of the masses? Should AOC push it for the green agenda, or start with a new brown agenda with a new slogan like “tear, wipe, flip, wipe, flush brown down, butt only weekly” (got to save water too).

I know that Costco is completely out of toilet paper and thought maybe the greens could write the CEO who could perhaps use this vital information in an ad campaign, maybe something like “AOC is for brown down - wipe for All On Costco”.

Taleb's dictatorship of the minority is a fascinating treatise. I see it everywhere after having read it.

On, the masks at work thing, I wonder if it will finally end when enough people have proven anti-bodies (or a vaccine). I got a test for anti-bodies last week, just for the hell of it, but no luck. I evidently have not yet been exposed despite my best efforts at mingling everywhere.

I wonder, if I had come back positive, could I get away not wearing a mask at, say, Santa Cruz Whole Foods? Suck it, I'm immune!

At this point, I wear a mask much like I wear shoes or a tie. I think it is all ridiculous cargo cult - but, it is easier to fit in socially and accomplish whatever it is I intend to accomplish if I have shoes/mask/tie on in places that expect it.

I was in Oregon and California over the weekend and, even there, you can see some people rebelling. I'm back in the midwest now and only service people are wearing masks - and usually very casually and disdainfully.

It WAS fascinating to read ....

Just finished spreading my dad’s ashes at buntzen lake. I can see why he wanted here to be his final resting place. It’s quite a stunning area.

Also, burial plots here in Vancouver start well into 5 figure territory. The old man was pragmatic.

Cremation will be the way to go for me too!!
