Here's a pretty good article from RT on the symptoms: https://www.rt.com/usa/453656-trump-der ... -symptoms/

Am about to read the article but wanted to first investigate the source of the article:

"rt.com/usa/. Availability. RT America is an American pay television channel based in Washington, D.C., and part of the RT network, a global multilingual television news network based in Moscow, Russia, and funded by the Russian government."

Glad to see you have all the medical credentials to make these pronouncements. Shall I refer others to you for your examination and diagnosis?

Just read it. Yet another shining article clearly written by someone with ZERO bias which, of course, results in a completely objectively written article.

However, how does one juxtapose these two excerpts (below) with Republicans PROUDLY 1) passing a $2.2 TRILLION deficit increasing bill which 2) give employees and employers (through August) FULL incentive to keep employees on unemployment because for many employees they will earn far more on unemployment, doing no work, than they ever have earned in their lives working a full work week? I'm not going to listen to it being all the Democrats work because why did the Democrats not have the same power to remove a president?

A) "The recent outbreak of TDS represents a metastatic disease that originated in 2016. By 2020, for a certain number of American citizens, it has reached vital organs. In particular, the 2016 elections forced the Democrats to peel off the mask of semi-hidden socialists, revealing the inner pathology. The 2016 election forced Democrats to oppose America with an open socialist visor.

Why? Because proponents of leftist ideology have come to the (pretty reasonable) conclusion that the beginning of the Trump era means the end of the socialist era. They realized that it was time to go all in. Otherwise, the idea of turning 50 American states into 50 Soviet socialist republics would fail."

B) "A recent discovery by American researchers gives hope that the correct approach to the Bacillus Anti-Trumpicus problem will be found eventually. It turned out that the record-low unemployment rate and noticeable growth of accumulated wealth in pension funds sharply boost the immune system of both societies and individual citizens. In some cases, a manifestation of a complete cure is the refusal of patients to receive welfare benefits since they have obtained a high-paying job."

Guys, I only have a single symptom of TDS. The inability to get over his style and lack of "presidentialness"

I have little issue with most of his policies, like I had little issue with most of Obama's. They are all hypocrites, regardless. We haven't become a nation without guns and where abortion is illegal, for example, two supposed tenets of either side. And they all grow the debt.

You'd ask then, is his style and manner enough for me to want him out of office simply based off that? You bet.

His style serves to amplify the differences between the left and right vs. attenuate, and does little to seek compromise.

A grandfatherly Biden would, seemingly, be better at toning down the rhetoric from both sides.

I'm kind of in recovery from TDS. My folks are pure Trump fans although they used to vote Democratic once upon a time.
My bubble of friends offscreen: fiercely anti-Trump.

What Cortopassi called the lack of presidentialness is definitely something that still bothers me. I've never seen him accept criticism. In addition to that, I don't like that he's got his daughter as an advisor and an overconfident, underachieving slumlord son-in-law who is sent out to bring peace to the Middle East. As one article put it, it's the kind of nepotism an African dictator would enjoy. { But Joe Biden's son- } I know, I know. True!

And yet, I don't think he's the monster the media makes him out to be. He's doing enough things right, and some of the things I think he's doing wrong turn out to be fabrications.
At this point, I'm cynically putting my faith (for lack of a better word) in the machine which will keep on turning no matter who sits in the Oval Office.
