nikon z6 with nikon 70-200mm f2.8 and nikon 2x telecontertor

Beautiful, Mathjak.
How long was that lens? The depth of field doesn't look like more than an inch or two. Do you carry a tripod?

Edit: I just saw that you posted the lens info. I wouldn't have thought you could do that with 200mm.

i used a tripod this time but don;t usually ...the 200mm lens also had a 2x tele-converter on it bumping it to 400 . i have a 200-500 lens coming next week

So obviously you don't believe that the tele-converter creates any degradation? And, I further assume yours must be of top quality?

the teleconvertors do degrade slightly.. however the nikon extender was actually tailored to match the nikon 70-200mm f2.8 which i have . that is a 3k combo ....so used together quality loss is very slight .

but on cheaper lenses that were not tailored to that extender there can be a lot of loss in quality ....

my wife has the nikon 200-500mm which i just ordered friday for myself.. the bad thing about both of us being in to shooting is 2 of everything .... the extender will make that a 1000mm . but of course light is reduced greatly .
