We didn't have a dog when I was a kid, but there was a similar and legit incident that left me without my homework the next day.
No one believed me. No one. And there was no way to prove it.
These days, you could snap a photo of the crime with your phone and show it to the teacher.

When I was working on a survey crew, a horse bit a chunk out of the total station data collector* and ran away. One of the funniest and most bizarre things to happen in my work life.

I know a millennial who is doing the wallstreetbets thing. I feel like I should try to tell him what's going to happen. But I doubt he'd listen. He sounded the same as the young barber I went to in 1999.

Urban Dictionary to the rescue.
L's is when someone loses or something bad happens to them
Austin took an L when his car got egged
Tanner takes many L's

These memes are much funnier now that I know what the fuck you're talking about.

What do the laser eyes mean? Joe Kernen of cnbc was talked into using a pic of himself with laser eyes as his new twitter profile picture. The context was a bitcoin prediction.
Are the laser eyes a bitcoin meme thing?

God, I sound old.
