I have to admit.

Doncic IS impressive.

A 21 year old white guy who plays like that??!!

Good game, right? O0 For those who missed it, here are his highlights from tonight. Be sure to watch to the end.

Luka is amazing. And the crazy thing is that he plays like that all the time. He's a walking highlight reel who just finds ways to win.

Yes, good game. But devastating outcome for a Celtics fan! I did NOT see it coming in spite of his prior shot!

I hear that the Mavs are shopping Porzingis. My Knicks don't want that prima donna back.

He has some kind of injury as he was in street clothes on the bench for last night's game.

As the end of Thursday's Celtics postgame show Brian Scalabrine stated that Porzingis fits the profile of someone that Danny Ainge goes after. We shall see!

It does seem like Boston could use a change, but Ainge has the same reputation among other GMs as that guy in your fantasy football league who is constantly trying to offer his entire bench for your best player. Eventually everyone just tunes him out. So I have my doubts he's willing to offer anything close to what Dallas would want for KP. But as you said, we'll see.

Thanks for that non-Boston view of Ainge! I think he is great and support all he does.

I also happened to see several of his iconic moments. The first one was during the NCAA's when he got the rebound in a Brigham Young NCAA game and went coast-to-coast to put in the game winning basket.

When he and Tree Rollins got into a fight in the NBA playoff and Rollins bit Ainge's finger(s)!

Finally, all the machinations Red Auerbach went through to get the Toronto Blue Jays to release their interest in Ainge to the Celtics after Ainge had already been playing as a major league baseball player.

It looks like the answer is yes. O0

This is how I imagine most Celtics fans feel right now:

Have you guys seen Doncic's game-winning three pointer from last night? It's worth looking up. The guy is amazing.

Didn't realize we had a Luka Doncic thread on here! The Mavs absolutely have to get him a better supporting cast and soon. He and Porzingis have a great connection but Porzingis is too fragile for the long NBA season.

I think you got your answer. :)

It would be awesome to watch Dallas play Boston in the finals. Let's hope they both pull it off!

I heard last night that Phoenix played the all-time worst game 7 of any sport!

I prefer to think of it as Dallas playing the all-time best game 7 of any sport. 8)

I was only able to watch a few minutes early in the game but Dallas was making it tough on the Suns to get a decent shot and when they did get them, they were just missing. A LOT.

It's easy to forget just how much randomness there is in sports. I went to a game at Yankee Stadium in 2004 where the Yankees got pasted 22-0 by the Indians. Link here:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/ ... 5efe8413e/

What was fascinating was just how quickly runs can pile up when a team hits a few three-run dingers. Those Yankees were GOOD too.

Anyway, it's good to see a team in the conference finals that wasn't expected to get that far. It's also interesting with NBA teams how the parts have to fit together and that a team with one great player can go far. Most teams seem to have tried to get "the big three" ever since the days of Jordan, Pippen & Rodman, but there are other ways to win (like Toronto in 2019).
