I heard a doctor on the radio a couple weeks ago on vitamin D, and what he said made some sense -- that it wasn't clear if low Vitamin D levels are correlated to more easily getting Covid, or not.flyingpylon wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 12:08 pmThat article looked at vitamin D as a “cure”. I haven’t really seen anyone suggest that. But I have seen people suggest that D is an important immunity booster and that the hardest hit victims of COVID had low levels of D.mathjak107 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 22, 2021 3:47 am My sentiments exactly in this article

I supplement vitamin D and I have not gotten COVID so my n=1 result is that it must work great.
Don’t worry, I know it’s not conclusive evidence of anything. Just saying.
I’ve always understood that the best form of vitamin D is the kind your body makes with exposure to the sun. So good for you Vinny, you’re doing it right.
Meaning, Covid could possibly have a side effect to lower Vitamin D in your body as part of what happens during the infection, not that you got Covid because your D levels were low. They could have been normal. Not enough studies it seems.
