Re: Some historical listening
Just finished listening to both of them.
Excellent! Highly recommended.
As is my custom I will now listen to each a second time.
Thanks again!

Re: Some historical listening
Concluded listening to them for the second time.
Now on my second time listening to this one.

It seems that Howard Clark has been around for 30+ years but it was only recently that I discovered him.
He has about a 1/2 hour podcast each day which cover a variety of topics.
All are entertaining and informative.

Some more historical listening....

So using Gold as the reference to the other asset classes
Consider 25% Gold as savings (NOT rebalanced), 75% Bonds & Equity (2:1 ratio) where each are again divided 50/50 USA/International.
For a 25 year period (Note: The time period was constrained by the available data for Global Bonds (USD Hedged) [Jan 1999 - Jan 2024].) you would have been better off putting everything in gold. Isn't 20/20 hindsight grand!
PS: Ratios chosen as playing around with the concept of an International PP.
