Still there.
Read a book that was similar to this. Made the persuasive case that what is popularly believed is not true.
Same as what most believe regarding the woman and McDonald's coffee.

I know most people on this forum are not fans of Peter Schiff, but this interview on YouTube with the Mind Pump channel is really awesome.

Smith,
Re your sig: VTINX in an IRA and a bunch of VMMXX in an after tax account for emergencies and/or several years of expenses is looking pretty good (especially if retired and nearer the end than the beginning). And is super simple!

I liked Schiff's stance on government that he put up where he walked around Occupy Wall Street talking to people.

I often wish I was American (pandemic notwithstanding) so that I could enjoy your guys' economies of scale. Canada has the dubious distinction of having the highest mutual fund fees of any country in the world. Thank goodness Vanguard expanded to Canada a while back.

HILARIOUSLY awesome video. Just seeing all the people he was talking to who thought they were going to steamroll him -- pure gold. Heh, gold.
I don't agree with absolutely everything he says. I don't like the idea of totally abandoning U.S. stocks, for instance. Largely though, I think he makes a lot of sense.

I am doing some late night homework while having some Milton Friedman stuff on in the background. This primer on inflation is really well done.

LOL!
But I must be old. That is not music, it is noise.
That opening guitar riff alone is fucking awesome. Maybe you have to be under 45 to enjoy it.

I listened to the whole song.
I'm not even close to 45 and I'd give the guitarist an "A". The whole band was quite good. The bass player had the old Yes bass player setup sound going - Rickenbacker bass with Rotosound strings. Maybe even was using the classic Ampeg SVT amp?
In any event, my favorite station on Amazon Prime music is: "Deep Purple".
Incubus is a worthy descendant of Deep Purple (along with other giants in rock music).

I like the guitar but i wish this kind of music could be instrumental. In heavy metal, for example (i’m not saying Incubus is; idk what they are), I have yet to find a vocalist I like. Lemmy’s ok. And the growling dog. (Caninus?)

How about this vocalist, dualstow?

It's Ian Gillian who's in my top ten all time male rock vocalists. "Ian Gillan was becoming a superstar with Deep Purple when he played one in Jesus Christ Superstar, starring on the cast album released on 12 October 1970."
This song also has one of the greatest rock guitarists ever - Richie Blackmore - plus the great keyboardist Jon Lord.

Oh my gosh, what have the liberals done to Mt Rushmore?
I was never a Deep Purple fan but I’m generally fine with rock vocalists. Anything softer than heavy metal.
Heavy metal is ruined by the singing in my opinion. James Hetfield is ok.
