I think that their following is primarily teenage girls, but they got their hooks in me recently and I find their music fascinating and hard to stop listening to.
One of the interesting things about their work is the range of their sound. They seemingly touch every pop genre from the last 20 years more or less effortlessly.

Yes, me as well and just recently started listening to them more frequently.

That's great.
They're coming to town in February 2017 and I asked my daughter if she wanted to go with me to see them. She said yes. The conversation felt sort of backward, but I'm glad I've got someone to go with (wife isn't quite down with the Skeleton Clique...at least not yet).
