Permabear Portfolio Ideas
If one were going to make a permabear investment portfolio, what would it consist of? Obviously gold. Maybe Swiss Francs. Any other safe haven currencies? I know Libertarian666 does something along the lines of 66% gold, 17% cash and 17 Swiss Annuity. Any other ideas for such a portfolio?

I love it. I'm always curious about the long-term performance of unusual allocations. The WSJ asked William Bernstein, an investment manager at Efficient Portfolio Advisors, to review the portfolio. He said the following, and he wasn't kidding:
"This portfolio is a half-step away from a cellar-full of canned goods and nine-millimeter rounds."

Good, except 9 mm is too wimpy. You need .357 or .45 if you want to make sure the results are as desired.Smith1776 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 6:22 pm Look no further than the Ron Paul portfolio.
