• Somehow it’s un-American for the census to count how many legal Americans are in America.

• Russians influencing our elections are bad, but illegals voting in our elections are good.

• It was cool for Joe Biden to “blackmail” the President of Ukraine, but it’s an impeachable offense if Donald Trump inquires about it.

• Twenty is too young to drink a beer, but eighteen is old enough to vote.

• People who have never owned slaves should pay slavery reparations to people who have never been slaves.

• Inflammatory rhetoric is outrageous, but harassing people in restaurants is virtuous.

• People who have never been to college should pay the debts of college students who took out huge loans for their degrees.

• Immigrants with tuberculosis and polio are welcome, but you’d better be able to prove your dog is vaccinated.

• Irish doctors and German engineers who want to immigrate must go through a rigorous vetting process, but any illiterate gang-bangers who jump the southern fence are welcome.

• $5 billion for border security is too expensive, but $1.5 trillion for “free” health care is not.

• If you cheat to get into college you go to prison, but if you cheat to get into the country you go to college for free.

• People who say there is no such thing as gender are demanding a female President.

• We see other countries going Socialist and collapsing, but it seems like a great plan to us.

• Some people are held responsible for things that happened before they were born, and other people are not held responsible for what they are doing right now.

• Criminals are catch-and-released to hurt more people, but stopping them is bad because it’s a violation of THEIR rights.

• And pointing out all this hypocrisy somehow makes us “racists”?!

Highlighted the two for which I had complete agreement with. Many of the others I did not find to be completely truthful.

Which ones did you not find to be completely truthful?
For the most part, if I were giving examples of the verb "caricature" almost anything on the list would qualify.

I've long thought 25 as voting age.

Most should have some experience living on their own to some extent by then.

How does that fit that when they are 18 they are old enough to be killed for their country?

Can't that be analogized to "taxation without representation"?

I liked this article. Sums up a future summary of "Why Biden lost" or "Why Trump lost" Pretty spot on I think.

Different traits one looks for in a soldier vs voter. Brain isn't fully developed until 25.

And, have more life experience.

As for "Taxation without representation", correlary would be, if you don't pay taxes on money you earn, do you get to vote? How many 18 year olds are financially independent?

A different perspective I think when more independent.

I do know that there is no chance if it happening.

What about a principle that you can't vote for an office until you're old enough to hold it?

I like it! 8)
DNA has its own language (code), and language requires intelligence. There is no known mechanism by which matter can give birth to information, let alone language. It is unreasonable to believe the world could have happened by chance.

35? Damn.

And that really goes against the KISS principle.

Only for President. It's younger for other offices.

I'm not advocating for this; just tossing it out there.

Since we are discussion age, can we put an upper limit on being able to hold office as well? I'd put 70 as the oldest you can be to run for office, so as a senator you are out by 76 at the latest.

Yes indeed. Much easier to convince someone with a less than fully developed brain to go fight a war in some country they might never have even heard of.

I can support that. I didn’t want to run for office anyway! ;D
