Just wait til Smithers finds out about Yuan Herong ;D
Looks like she could also make a fair amount of money playing a certain type in movies. Though, while I've seen a lot of females in movies who can definitely fight (in both the movies and real life) I don't think I've seen any that have near the muscles that she has.

Fun fact about me. I am strictly attracted to white/caucasian women. And the preference is not slight. Seeing women of other ethnicities is pretty much the same thing as seeing a dude to me. Not sure why. Just the way my brain is built I guess.

*shrug*
Then you definitely buck the trend on this forum. Several of us here are white/caucasian guys who have an Asian wife or girlfriend: Me, dualstow, Corto, and (I think) pp4me, to name a few.

Not unless the trend is opposites (in this case, different races) attract.

No. The "Not" belongs there....following is the same thing with all my implied words left spelled out.

"Not unless the [more global view of the] trend is [that] opposites (in this case, different races) attract {as opposed to believing that the [more narrow view of the] trend of the forum is that whites are attracted to Asians].

I've tried to date outside my preference before... all it resulted in was a few broken hearts and some awkward bedroom moments.

No. The "Not" belongs there....
Tortoise said that Smith was bucking the trend. I think what you’re forgetting here is that ‘bucking’ already presents a negative.
You then said, “Not unless...” which would mean Smith is not bucking the trend unless opposites attract.
That makes no sense. If the trend is ‘opposites attract’, Smith is very much a part of the trend, not bucking it.

You could replace ‘unless’ with ‘if’, and say “Not if the trend is opposites attract.’ that would make sense.

Yes. I think you are correct on all. And, I later thought an "if" would have been much better than the "unless".

Thanks for the great elucidation!

80% of the interest I get on my online dating profile is from asian women. It is extremely frustrating lol.

I'd probably be married as I desired if the attraction was mutual.

I'm assuming that you are using muscle barbie for your on-line profile. Might want to change that up. NTTAWWT.
I'm sure that this esteemed forum would be happy to give you an enormous amount of humorous and useless advice if you were to show us the profile you are actually using.

I began to google ‘NTTAWWT’ and it wanted to fill in “Seinfeld” for the rest of the search.

It's not easy to make a nice piece of prime rib look like a tree stump. But I'm just the photographer that can do it.

Thanks! I just did a Google image search for something like "synthwave palm trees" and scrolled through the results until I found one I really liked. I don't think it's album art.

I much preferred the one that I encountered when I first got here and which lasted for a long, long time. The tortoise and the hare. Seemed like the perfect image for a Permanent Portfolio forum. I was disappointed when it was no longer. Also, was semi-shocked to see the Mountaineer's long standing one suddenly change and then seemingly undergo frequent changes. On the other hand, have always enjoyed Smith1776's frequent changes.

Just for you Vinny!

This is what I looked like when living in West Virginia, and foraging for that stuff someone mentioned cooking on another thread. The housing though was quite cheap. And my grocery expenses zero. And, above all, my permanent tooth cleaning expenses and toilet paper expenses were also zero. Covid related worry was nill. ;)

.
DNA has its own language (code), and language requires intelligence. There is no known mechanism by which matter can give birth to information, let alone language. It is unreasonable to believe the world could have happened by chance.
