Outrageous Bid/Ask Spread on TMF. Advice on New Pick.

Good thing I decided to double check TMF on multiple websites as I almost bought it based in the price given on investing.com which is completely wrong. Had a 20 cents difference there. Below are the real prices.

Direxion Daily 20+ Yr Trsy Bull 3X Shrs (TMF)
Bid: 43.52
Ask: 54.11
Price: 51.19

So this ETF is out the window unfortunately.

The only one which compares to TMF I found is a ETN called.

PowerShares DB 3x Lng 25+ Yr Trsy Bd ETN (LBND)

Bid: 33.00
Ask: 34.68

A 1.68% difference which is not perfect but much better then the 10.59% difference of TMF.

What I am worried about with LBND is that the 52 week range says. "0,00 - 50,87"

Is that a glitch? I don't see it anywhere....?


What do you guys think. Is this a good alternative or would you recommend another one?

Ummm... why are you using leveraged funds in a Permanent Portfolio? I like VGLT myself. But I have a level of trust for Vanguard that I do not generally extend to any other fund family.
