Is that the new PPE? It doesn't even cover their noses. Maybe those white face shields slide down and become transparent? That would be neat.

Did Trump buy us any doses of Hydroxychloroquine?

My prediction is that when antibody tests become more widely available, we will be surprised to discover that many parts of the country and world have already achieved herd immunity (say, > 60% of people are immune).
In those places, it will appear as if the virus had spread largely unchecked through the population some months ago, so the next step will be for people to figure out how that could possibly have happened without the hospitals in those areas getting overrun. (E.g., maybe areas with higher numbers of hospital beds per capita handled their surge without much drama before anyone knew what Covid-19 was.)
Just a hunch, not based on any hard science.
How much evidence is there that it is a one and done?
How long does immunity last?
Only a singkr strain / does it apply to all strains?
I know that's a hope.

Probably not much. But so far, it seems promising that at least we're not hearing about many people who got sick from the virus, recovered completely, then got sick from it again sometime after that. That's just anecdotal, but based on many thousands of cases so far. If it had happened, it almost certainly would have been all over the news.
There have been reports of "reinfections" in certain countries like South Korea and China, but from what I've seen, those are based only on test results and not on people actually getting sick multiple times. None of the tests are 100% accurate, so most or all of the apparent reinfections could be due to testing errors or artifacts.

Most cases aboard U.S. aircraft carrier are symptom-free
Here's an interesting result. An entire population is tested. Somewhat atypical, but interesting nonetheless.
Out of 4,800 sailors, there were 600 positive, (12.5%)
majority asymptomatic.
The Navy’s testing of the entire 4,800-member crew of the aircraft carrier - which is about 94% complete - was an extraordinary move in a headline-grabbing case that has already led to the firing of the carrier’s captain and the resignation of the Navy’s top civilian official.
Roughly 60 percent of the over 600 sailors who tested positive so far have not shown symptoms of COVID-19, the potentially lethal respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus, the Navy says. The service did not speculate about how many might later develop symptoms or remain asymptomatic.

Interesting table. Things can always change, but with the lowest number of cases and deaths per capita Texas is feeling relatively comfy right now.

To what do you attribute that to?
I see that Texas is 26th in population density, so right in the middle.

California is doing well except in testing - damn that's bad.
(Looking especially at per-capita).
While Texas even better in deaths per capita; tests even worse than CA.
