My wife and I got Pfizer ..
But we had a bit different reactions to the first shot , likely because we had bad covid .
I felt nothing when I got the shirt ..I thought maybe she missed my arm and squirted it in my shirt .
Well next day I got a sore arm ...exactly 24 hours in I got a slight headache , but got so nauseous while driving I thought any second I was going to heave .
When I got home my wife had the same thing .
I fell asleep for two hours and gone .
We have the second shot 3/24

I got my 2nd Pfizer shot 2 days ago. Arm is still sore but diminishing. I definitely felt weak, kind of like flu symptoms and I'll take it easy for another day or two. I can still feel the effects from the shot.

The first shot was about that for me too...I just was a bit tired for a couple of days.
I was more afraid of the second shot - the side effects are a whole different ball game....everyone I know had some combination of high fever, headache, diarrhea, nausea, and extreme fatigue for about 3 days. And yes, it does seem it's worse for women than men. There are also disturbing reports piling up of the shots triggering serious autoimmune conditions. So the risk is nonzero....which means the benefit had better be greater than zero. It's not. If I didn't have my university breathing down my neck, I wouldn't have taken it.
Look at the numbers yourself and run them through an online chi square calculator, if you want to find out whether there is a significant difference between the numbers as reported for the shot you're taking. (tl;dr: for Pfizer the different is not significant). Not significant means that there is no quantifiable difference in efficacy between one shot and two. It would have been hard to prove in any case, you need high numbers for that which is why there are very few "head to head" trials of anything in medicine. Make your own decision on this of course.
I'm happy to report that my premedication regimen was very effective at controlling the effects of the second shot, which means partially disabling it. If you want to try it: it's simply 800mg ibuprofen plus 500mg acetaminophen every 8 hours for 24 hours before to 24 hours after the shot, with a double dose of OTC fluticasone (Flonase) right before the appointment. I had almost no arm soreness which was much improved from the experience with the first shot, for which I didn't premedicate. No bad symptoms except for just enough fatigue to make you want to be lazy for a few days.

WiseOne, thank you for your report.
My opinion is that it is truly detestable that people are being compelled, by their employers, to participate in these experimental trials.

Except science says it is working just fine . So Far nothing experimental about the results .in fact it likely has had the most testing on real life cases in vaccine history .
So an employer in most states can do what is approved to keep their employees safe and you are free not to work there.. if you detest it go work somewhere else and roll the dice on doing nothing to protect yourself with others who may feel the same

Except there was never any proof that the vaccine was anything more than coincidence..he was likely sick prior .
Millions have been vaccinated,, where are the deaths .
Like the doom and gloomers of investing , most of what they spew is in their minds

I definitely have heard European concerns about the Astra Zeneca version, but Murphy, are you at all able to stay US based with the vaccines available here and give any sources talking about the bodies “piling” up?

I agree. The results from Israel suggests that the experimental agents offer return-free risk.

Encouraging that many healthcare workers are refusing to be experimented upon. (Are they reckless conspiracy theorists and anti-vaxxers?)
What are the odds that fauci has conflicts of interest?
Fun fact.... Even fauci states that even if vaccinated, you still can be infected and can still spread the virus.

Avoid this experiment people and be suspicious of anyone pushing it.

WiseOne was talking about the second shot being unnecessary, not the vaccine in general.

I doubt there are many in the tristate area that chose not to ..
I can see areas where not much covid damage happened but I don’t think you will find many here not doing it

The experiment is having some very impressive results, off to a very strong start.
Here is how COVID vaccines rank among 94 vaccine types in terms of reported post-vaccine adverse effects.
Congenital anomaly/birth defect: 1.
Emergency room: 1.
Death: 2.
Life threatening: 5.
"Serious" adverse effects: 7.
Hospitalized: 10.
Permanent disability: 12.
Total adverse effects: 15.

Impressive indeed, considering how new this injection program is.

My prescriptions have far more ramifications

I'm thinking the current experiment can get within the top 10 rankings for every category.
I mean, they're already getting Olympic medals in three categories

Running away with the gold medal in the deaths category.... 1524 bodies.
How hi does the body count have to be before they put an asterisk after the word "safe"?

I read through some of the link you sent listing people who had died following a shot. The general theme seemed to be that they were hanging on by a thread the day they got the injection. They woke up that morning dying and it doesn't seem like the injection changed their trajectory.

I agree ..so far the supposed vaccine deaths all had pre existing conditions whether known or unknown like the doctor who died who had a rare low platelet issue
