It was delicious! Chinese food isn't agreeing with the missus' stomach, so she's sticking with simple things like scrambled eggs on the left there.

We just finished Disneyland Hong Kong today. Oh man, we're exhausted.

I was wondering why you got a side of eggs with your eggs.

I’m rereading the original HBPP thread on bogleheads. It’s honestly better than most books on investing as it chronicles the 2008 crisis in real time. I’m also reminded of how insightful MediumTex was.

Yeah, I felt similarly.

Those kinds of discussions can't happen on the Knuckleheads forum anymore. It's just not the same place.

As they say in Cantonese, the conversations are more saliva than tea.
(Actually that’s not true at all, but I really wanted to use the expression).

I figured out who that NiceUnparticularMan guy is.

He's the anti-MediumTex.

Tex's posts are shrewd, perceptive, and astute. By contrast, this other guy is literally the exact opposite.

Why are miniguns called miniguns when they are far from being mini?

She LOVES tea. Actually, we went to this museum in HK.

https://www.discoverhongkong.com/anz/in ... -ware.html

It's super cool, and they have these displays showing the intricacies and history of tea making.

We left with a package of this stuff: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pu%27er_tea

Really cool!
