Yeah it's kind of sad to not know what happened to our characters of the past.

Yes, I saw that thread the other day. Apparently industrial demand for silver is high and junk silver is selling at a discount due to refiner backlog? I guess the lesson is if you're going to buy silver, don't buy the "junk" silver by the pound, stick with pure coins/bars.
Smelting (purification) is more costly than melting - and there's much demand for pure silver bars to be delivered asap (as many dump excess dollars into COMEX to take physical delivery of gold/silver).

Gold/Silver ratio 60.

Those that swapped gold for silver when GSR was 90 might swap back again and end up with 50% more gold.

Silver prices from my morning review a few hours ago:

🇨🇳 ($111) > 🇮🇳 (less VAT $107) >> 🇬🇧 ($98) > 🇺🇸 COMEX Jan26 ($97)

The West is chasing the East. The East is driving the bus.

A quick peek at a news story suggests that people had bought silver ETF(s) on margin, and the drop triggered margin calls. Which of course drive more selling.

Sounds like silver will be $95 at open?

If that is true, then I bet it will be over $100 by the end of the day on Monday.
