"Good enough" fund choices?

We're U.S. citizens who live most of the year in Mexico. Just read the gold chapter of the excellent new PP book and it has me thinking that going through the hassle of opening an account at Everbank to hold allocated gold might be worth it, though until now I thought that having our allocation divided between GTU and Bullionvault was good enough given that holding physical gold down here is just not an option and I don't want to burden relatives back home with storage.

Thoughts?

It's a personal choice. If you have lots of gains in the gold it may not be worth selling just to move funds if you have to pay lots of taxes. What you are doing may very well be good enough for your situation.
