I have been experiencing difficulty accessing this site over the last couple of days. Am I alone, or are others unable to connect as well?

I cannot connect either.  This probably explains my drop in blood pressure and stress today.

Their servers were affected by Hurricane Sandy from what I understand. I don't know any more. I know that some data centers in the region located in basements got submerged, or at least the power generators did. So at a minimum they have no power. At worst, all the posts are waterlogged and need time to dry.

However, it's a good lesson for why you might want to consider using more than one brokerage for your funds in case a natural or other disaster might affect one of them in the same way.

The bogleheads.org website is back. Although if you're being redirected to some Financial Planning website, then try flushing your DNS cache.

On Windows its ipconfig /flushdns
On Mac its http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5343
