I posted this on the B'heads board as well.  Just found a good reference site for S&P P/E:

Upon further inspection, there are plenty of other informative charts.  Some of the ones I liked:

-Inflation adjusted S&P chart
-Updated Case Shiller (inflation adjusted)
-US CPI
-US Federal Debt/GDP
-US Federal Deficit/GDP

I really liked how the data is on demand and updated daily.  Very cool.
