Ran into this site:  http://www.etfreplay.com/  when reading this article: http://etfdailynews.com/blog/2010/10/14 ... q-vti-vwo/

Looks like a fun site. You can do backtesting on an ETF portfolio, buy&hold, moving average and relative strength.

Yes, I played on it a few days ago.  For fun I suggest changing the gold to - 22% gold and 3% silver.  Then try with 20% gold, 5% silver.

Cool site! Thanks for sharing your discovery for those of us who didn't already know about it.

Can someone enlighten me on the

              Time Period   Weight
Return A
Return B
Volatility

parameters used in the back testing page?  I read their explanation but still don't get it (humbly, I have a master's degree in engineering so I am somewhat embarrassed having to ask but I don't fully understand how all those parameters play together in the calculations  ??? ).

======= Update (45 minutes later) ========================

Doh!  Never mind.....I get it now.  Sorry for the inconvenience  >:(
