Good source for Israeli bullion?

Anyone know a decent source of reasonably-priced Israeli bullion coins? I've recently fallen in love with the Israeli Western Wall coin but can't find it for anything less than like spot + $400, which is a tad ridiculous.

No, and I noticed our one known Israeli member has never replied to questions about those coins.
I covet them as well -- I'm sure I'm breaking a commandment. They're so sinfully beautiful, why not just put a calf on them -- but for now, I'll have to admire them from afar.

Can we somehow tie this conversation back into the circumcision thread of last year?

I like the cut of your jib.

Funny, there are countless slang terms, but I never heard it called a jib before.

I heard that if you get a 1 oz circumcised israeli gold piece and gently rub it, it turns into a 2 oz circumcised Israeli gold piece.

So why spend $400 extra on just another bullion coin when around that same $400 would get you a rare, collectible, historical gold coin with orders of magnitude more upside potential? Vanity with gold coins only has a place if it will add to your future return, otherwise a fool and his money are...
Right, that's why I haven't bought any.

Do you know of any place I can acquire one without the $400 premium?

No, as it appears to be very low mintage of only 3,600. So if you can guarantee before buying that it is indeed a first strike series coin, the $400 premium could be justified if you really want one bad enough. However, its not a true proof coin, only proof-like. First strike series are normally PR70 full proof strikes.
Its also second in a planned series of coins. If you could also manage to acquire a first strike series for the first coin, the Tower of David, I see modest future potential as a collection.

Very nice coin.
I like the variety of gold coins as well but in canada, only 9999 purity or better can be purchased tax free. The krugs and eagles are not pure enough and are taxed. That one would fit the bill. I'm going to ask if my local dealer can get it. Any gold coin so far (got maples, Roos and philharmonic) has been no more than 5% over spot with the maples being 3% over.
