Wasn't our President going to heal racial strife forever? Looking at what's happening in Ferguson Mo. it looks like he might have come up a little short. Or is this Bush's fault too?

Statistically, if a lot of people--regardless of their race--hassle the police and get in physical altercations with them on a daily basis, it's a virtual certainty that every once in a while one of them is going to get shot in the heat of the moment.

It's pretty simple. To a large extent, this is a numbers game. So, independent of almost all other factors, if fewer people mouth off to police officers and struggle with them, fewer people are going to get accidentally shot. But that plain fact doesn't make for sexy, attention-grabbing news stories about race.

Can't blame everything on the President, Reub.

So now it's all my fault? Oh well,  as long as the "O" gets off the hook.

Well lets see, was Bush's fault for the first four years, and now it is congress' fault.  Seems fair to me.

And I seem to remember him promising transformation (which is happening) though I don't remember the word healing.

Obama was never going to heal anything, but he did certainly run a "I walk on water" campaign so I think it's fair to have a little fun at his expense.

If you believed he was somehow different than other politicians, then you are fair game too, IMO.  As soon as he reneged on his public finance promise upon immediately realizing he could outraise his opponents, I knew he was a run-of-the-mill, status quo Liar in Chief.
