Looks like it's still in the funding stage.  Do you know if they're technically a charity and can receive tax deductible donations?  It looks like the device is designed for poor communities without Internet infrastructure.

No, its a capitalist business as far as I can tell.  They plan to generate revenue from a few service areas.  They already are utilizing two satellites beaming 24/7 so its not exactly a startup, but sort of in the early growth stage.

I think its a potentially good Anti-Big Brother Device and a Dystopia Hope Beacon.  They have plans around government censorship from the outset.

Amazing product. So cool how they're explicitly thinking about and working around government censorship. I love these kinds of private solutions to government, and I've put my money where my mouth is and donated. What an awesome thing.

I'm thinking about it.  $99 isn't bad, but I'm not sure I have any real use for v1 right now.  I'm long past that stage where I gobble up every occult topic to learn what wasn't taught in schools or MSM.
