Haha, that sounds like it could be a great idea for an episode of Community. (By the way the raving dude is Dean Pelton from Community, and my avatar is Bill Murray from Life Aquatic).
Well back to the
techno technical status of gold, I think the 120 level for GLD is critical resistance/support. If GLD breaks through 120 we will see a trend reversal, if not then this move higher has been a bull trap and we have much further to fall.

Bill Murray is da man!!! I put up that 120ish trendline (I am using futures) even though its not a significant one.

Here's spot. We are very very close to a bottom in gold according to my timing model. Maybe this month or next.

Reminds me of the world domination game 007 played where the loser would receive an electric shock.

Time for an update. Remember kiddies, a true bull market in gold does not exist until gold in all major currencies is hitting new highs. In order are USD spot, USD futures, Euro spot, Pound spot, long term Yen spot, short term Yen spot:

Also, a monthly buy signal on the MACD. I don't use this for my timing model and have no idea how well it did historically.

LASER DISCO!
I'll stick to Harry's suggestion and keep buying everything once a year until I have accumulated enough.

You're right, its for the overly confident, morbidly obese. Carry on then.
