That thing comes with Windows 8, which to me is a deal-breaker. Not that I'm biased or anything,

but I recommend a MacBook Air. IMHO it's the best computer ever designed for nearly all typical uses.

That looks like a very reasonable deal to me for an all in one.
Here is a comparable all in one at Walmart for more money that has good reviews.

Windows 8.1 is fine once you get used to it. They are basically giving Windows 8.1 away for free on this computer.

The Pentium moniker isn't the same core of old; it's just a rebranded Core i3 with many features disabled for the low end market. I really don't know why Intel feels the need to rebrand Core chips as Pentium's and Celeron's except to make money at it. The Core i3 is already very low end and slow. I guess if you still single task and don't run a lot of systray apps, then a Pentium/Celeron could be okay. But your britches may be tight on higher expectations.
However, if you're gonna upgrade to something, then for gawd's sake, make sure you get a solid state drive (SSD) as a primary drive not a regular hard disk drive (HDD). That will be the biggest user improvement over anything else of the last couple of decades.

+1 on SSD. They're not exactly cheap, but way more affordable than they used to be and you'll get your money's worth, Murphy.

Another + for the SSD. And a Macbook of some type.
... Mountaineer

SSDs are REALLY cheap, in my opinion. I bought three 256GB SSDs via Amazon for a little over $100 each. I migrated the OS to the SSDs (two laptops and one tower), which was pretty easy, and the boot and launch performance is far better than it was.
