I really didn't have anything to say about but it seemed to warrant it's own thread.

What's this about???  Viagra for Men was so overrated yet the Jay Leno comedy about it went on and on for years.  Gag me.

Sorry. Did this belong in the Permanent Supplement Thread?

What does it do?  Does it just make women feel hornier than they otherwise would?

For older men, it makes sense to take a drug that produces firmer erections if that is what is desired, but I'm not sure why a woman would want to take Viagra.  It seems to me that if she isn't in the mood for sex, she's probably not going to be in the mood to take Viagra either.

Whatever happened to Spanish Fly?

Dr Ruth is on the radio this morning. I wish I could ask her about it.

Seriously?

That chick was old back in the 1980s.

I can't see how such a drug could work. Viagra is for men who are physically incapable of erections, whereas the main problem that women have is lack of desire, not lack of ability to participate.

Exactly.  If she doesn't have the desire to have sex, what would make anyone think that she would have the desire to take a pill with a bunch of potentially bad side effects?

Think about it like this: If I didn't want to go to the mall with my wife, and she said that she could give me a pill that would make me want to go to the mall, but it might cause me to have blurry vision, backaches or in rare cases, a stroke, I would say "No thanks.  I think I'll just stay at home."

She's 87 and has just written her 37th book. She's had a very interesting life. Was an Israeli sniper and claims to still be able to assemble a firearm with her eyes closed in a few seconds.

I wonder how many confirmed kills she had?

How much would it suck to get taken out by Dr. Ruth?  That sounds like something from a "Naked Gun" movie.

Snopes, quoting the good doctor, says zero. She was just a really good sharpshooter, but was injured early on.

Oh, I don't know. If I have to get taken out, I'd be honored to be taken out by someone brainy like her.  :) Plenty of worse choices.

Yes, she is a hottie!!

But back to the topic at hand, I believe that the female viagra must be taken every day and will result in approximately one more satisfying sexual experience per month. Supposedly it works on the brain and not the blood flow.

I'm sure romance novels are cheaper, and more effective.

I thought Broadway musicals were only an aphrodisiac for gay men.
