Re: Satellite views of some vaults
None of these are Fort Knox. Getting some ideas? I was a bit struck by the ordinariness of these buildings. Seems like a team of commandos could get in and out. Although Dave is right about employee theft. A family member went to the Singapore Vault. Full body scan on going in plus they weigh you c...

Re: Drawdown phase of a PP in retirement

You could always rebalance into shorter term bonds if you can't bring yourself to buy LTT's..... Maybe even a variation on the GoldSmith portfo...

Hey folks. I am leaving this forum and returning to the Bogleheads forum. I no longer subscribe to Harry Browne's piddling investment theories. <snip> Anyway, back to the Boglheads forum for me. See ya. There are still vacancies at the Easter BogleHeads Re-education Camps 8) Looks like Smithy reall...

Re: Pentagon worried that troops see Capitol and BLM/Antifa riots as equally bad
Sounds like the troops are asking some good questions. There are former military personnel in Antifa/BLM too. So if it's worrying the upper levels that the troops think both are unacceptable, how much are they really focusing on "both sides?" Sounds like the troops are asking some good questions. T...

Thanks for an interesting read Kevin,
However I still remember Benjamin Grahams quote which was roughly "Shares cannot be preferable to bonds at any price".
He recommended a minimum of 25% in Shares or Bonds no matter how much you disliked them

Re: Let's debate: Money

So this obviously isn't the case in practice which tells me a choice was made to increase the money supply that didn't actually increase productivity? Maybe someone can chime in ...

Well.... I would start looking at the various defence/intelligence agencies and see what certifications they ask for. Also, have a look for recruitment programs for new graduates. In Australia they used to put you through in-house training programs and pay for your certifications :D Here's a starter...
