New Business Oportunities

Post by frugal »

Hello,

AMERICA [US] is a fast country where news appear everyday and new businesses born and raise.

Living outside I would like to know your new possibilities of business that are now starting and growing in America.

I consider this forum highly intelectual so I believe you can help me finding a new successful business in europe.

All the ideas are welcome.

Please feel free to add comments.

Thank you!

Angolan Portuguese is lovely. Way more pretty than what they speak in Portugal.

Man frugal, are you serious?  The EU is so statist and full of clueless politicans and bureaucrats with no real world experience, you're like asking the impossible.  The EU is first going to crash and burn; there is no hope.

That being said, startups are occuring in Greece because of the fantastically low costs.  Incubators are taking a foothold also.  So that is something to look at.  Invest when the blood runs in the streets, as Rothschild would say.

What the EU desparately needs is the equivalent of our "Kickstart our JOBS Act" which will let everyday people invest in private startups later this year.  And an Anglo-Saxon capitalist culture, but I digress.

Hello all,

I don't think Europe is so bad as you paint. Portugal yes, is a small and peripheric country :(

I live well and I have means to invest in a new business if I found that I can be happier doing it.

Also I have time to prepare or learn some new skills.

Then why limit yourself to Europe?

That's a viable idea.  There is a public(?) company in Germany that does nothing but that with Internet businesses in the EU/Russia/China and they've been raking it in.
