As someone who equally loves softly berating folks with bad senses of humor for not laughing at my jokes, I would like to address both your Eden comment and your follow-up mike-check.

You do know the witches of Salem are responsible for the rise of Nazis and Hitler, right?

Actually, I was kidding - just wanted to prove Godwin's Law.    But, upon reflection, both the Nazis and the "Puritans" at the Salem witch trials were trying to purify the culture --- by abhorrent methods!  It is amazing what sinful humans can do to pervert God's Word by trying to pick and choose Scripture to fit a warped agenda.  Sad when you think about all the ways sinful man tries to play God.

Why does this forum (on Simple Machines) routinely (usually several times per week I either lose when writing a topic response or can't get on the forum at all) crash when other forums I frequent that use Simple Machines almost NEVER crash?

The way us non-religious types see this is: its amazing how humans steeped in religious or philosophical mysticism can pervert objective, physical reality by trying to pick and choose their beliefs to fit a warped agenda.  Sad when you think about all the ways a deluded man tries to play "God". 

Where you see a sinful man against his "God", we see deluded beliefs creating a warped reality.  "The question is," said Humpty Dumpty, "which is to be master — that's all."
