This story made me want to bang my head against a wall. The degree that people have lost their sense of humanity today is truly sad. Kudos to the one good soul in the story.

That is really sad. They should have at least called 911. I understand some people just also don't have the confidence to save someone or think they'll do something wrong. Also look at psychological term 'bystander effect'
