I went to the U of IL in the late 70's. When my son was looking at colleges, we toured UC Santa Barbara and 5 minutes on that campus made me want to go back to school what with the dorm views of the Pacific Ocean and the co-eds walking the quad in bikinis.

And now this. I was obviously born 40 years too early [or 15 years too late by missing the hippie free-sex era]. 

You didn't miss much in the "hippie free-sex era". I was in college in the late 60's, and it wasn't that great... for most men, anyway.
