Yes, it should be privatized. The airlines have the most to lose by a terrorist attack, so they should be the ones in charge.
I am with Libertarian666 here, the airlines would provide much better safety AND customer service than the TSA. Despite my requests, I HAVE NEVER received their most attractive brunette.

All I'm saying is that if I were finally screened vigorously and to completion, I wouldn't be so explosive on those planes.

The airlines are trying to increase efficiency and at the same time reduce unwanted emissions.
