Apparently Carson also doesn't get geography:

Happy Geography Awareness Week! Recognizing that "too many young Americans are unable to make effective decisions, understand geo-spatial issues, or even recognize their impacts as global citizens," National Geographic created this annual observance to "raise awareness to this dangerous deficiency in American education."

Ben Carson's presidential campaign inadvertently underscored this point Tuesday night, when it took to social media to share a map of the United States in which five New England states were placed in the wrong location. The campaign deleted the Twitter and Facebook posts Wednesday morning after media outlets and social media users pointed out the error.

I'm really scratching my head trying to figure out what might have caused this. Normally I wouldn't think there would be different layers that somehow got shifted up like this did. And that if it did it to these states, how did nothing else get all funky. Also I like the Vernecticut line. Good stuff Tennessee Williams.

Does his campaign draw their own maps?

Usually, when I need a map I just use a store-bought one that already has all of the states in the right placce.

That doesn't show you know domestic policy though MediumTex. Every time you should start off with a pin the state on the donkey (USA map) and see how it turns out. I'd try the same thing with Europe and the Middle East, but I don't want to get laughed off the stage by the other children due to how bad I'd be at it.
